How to Have a Happy Pandemic Thanksgiving

We are thankful for our Century Medical Family and all our patients who trust our team. From the doctors and staff at Century Medical, PC, we hope all of our patients have a Happy Thanksgiving!

Is staying healthy this season even possible?

Enjoy these tips from our doctors to help keep you and your loved ones safe:

  • Having a small dinner with only people who live in your household

  • Preparing traditional family recipes for family and neighbors, especially those at highest risk of severe illness from Covid-19, and delivering them in a way that doesn’t involve contact with others

  • Having a virtual dinner and sharing recipes with friends and family

Eat real, whole, natural foods. Have a mindful Thanksgiving by eating smaller portions, adding more fruits, vegetables, and high-fiber grains, and drinking plenty of water. Eat slowly, breathe deeply between bites, and stop when full. Don’t feel pressured into eating anything you don’t want. Share, or at least focus on, what you appreciate about your life. Remember to savor not only the food but time with your loved ones too. Always give thanks, the good and the bad experience are life lessons learned.

Wishing you a happy healthy holiday from Century Medical, PC! Be grateful without being plateful!
